Unfinished - characters, advancements

-

The second generation was supposed to be Dr. X's, legend, his dawn of the new era, but they were both untouched by him and remained anything but creators of a better, superior society. As Clone Leonardo Da Vinci put it, "We [St. Kleio] exposed them to painful environments. The discrepancy between their self images and their conception of their originals caused them great suffering. We regret the mistakes we've made. It's too bad... We weren't able to impart St. Kleio's true purpose to them."

This page lists with short and to the point descriptions of the characters of the 2nd generation, the events and fates they experienced, and the advancements St. Kleio has been made since then, along with some trivia.

(Known) Clones of the 2nd Generation[]

Kai 1 (scarred/individualistic)[]

Status: Alive.

Kai 1 is the only clone of Dr. X to be raised alone at the Academy until Kai 2 joins him there. He has an identity crisis, but recovers when he meets the other Kais, to which he reacts angrily and scars his face because he wants to be his own person. After his fellow students graduate and he learns what horrible experiences they have, he decides that St. Kleio is evil, and feels obligated to "liberate" (kill) all clones. He forms a terrorist group of clones dedicated to his goals.

Presently: Using 2nd gen Einstein and 3rd gen Hitler to persuade the media to turn against St. Kleio. Had tried to persuade 3rd gen Elizabeth to join the Strikers because he once had a crush on 2nd gen Elizabeth.

Kai 2 (Loyal to St. Kleio)[]

Status: Alive.

When he first went to the academy, Kai 2 was just like the other Kais he had been raised with at the research facility, and believed Kai 1 to be the same as well. When he was proved wrong, Kai 1 at first tried to persuade Kai 1 otherwise, until he realized that Kai 1 really was different. Instead of joining the other Kais in Kai 1's terrorist group, he stays behind to take care of the 4th generation clones and Elizabeth, who is incarcerated.

Presently: Works mostly with the toddler clones, and they have grown to love him very dearly. When Kai 1 came to kill Elizabeth, Kai 2 saved her from him. However, now that Elizabeth has recovered, Kai 2 has been made to help Shiro protect St. Kleio, but has been very uncomfortable with his new situation.

Kais 3, 4, 5 (Tools)[]

Status: All Deceased.

Kais 2-5 were all raised at a research lab together, and have all seen how clones are produced. Although Kai 2 left them for the Academy, they three never went, and continued to have the exact same experiences together. Because of this, the three are almost entirely alike in every way. At first , Kai 1's terrorist actions are horrifying, but eventually understand his views and join the Strikers.

Deaths: One Kai is found murdered under unidentified circumstances when the Strikers first infiltrate St. Kleio. Another attempts to assassinate Kamiya, but when he is foiled by security he shoots himself. The last Kai sets the 2nd and 3rd gen Joans to burn at the stake, and when he is shot in the head by security, he sparks the gasoline, setting the stake aflame.

Sigmund Freud[]

Status: Alive.

Freud is perverted, mischievous and lively in St. Kleio Academy, perhaps even friendlier and more laid back than the Freud of the 3rd generation. He's seen many times with Shiro, and is a very close friend for him. He is bought by an unknown group, but eventually came to question his identity as Freud, and, as a failure clone, went to the Da Vinci foundation.

Presently: Although he had become a sort of half-willing underling of Da Vinci, when Da Vinci was hauled off by security, Freud either did not know what do, or did not feel like doing anything to stop his arrest. He has currently returned to St. Kleio grounds in order to continue protecting St. Kleio from politics, and seems to be very happy.

Marie Curie[]

Status: Deceased.

In high school, Marie is very sweet and naive- she accidentally kicks Kai 1 in the face at the swimming pool, and while she's trying to take care of him, she unknowingly gives Kai a full view of her groin (who quietly thanks Freud for getting him into that situation). When she graduates, she is bought by a weapon manufacturing company. Some time later, she makes an error during an experiment and several people die. She falls into a depression.

Death: Napoleon contacts Kai 1 about her situation, and when they arrive, Marie Curie understands immediately that Kai has come to kill her and accepts her "liberation" in happiness before he shoots her in the head.

Adolf Hitler[]

Status: Deceased.

Hitler enjoys painting immensely, and feels comfortable enough with Joan of Arc that asks her to pose half-naked for him for his painting for the Expo. However, without a friend like Shiro, which the 3rd gen Hitler had, 2nd gen Hitler feels very lonely in high school. After graduation, he is bought by a monastery that believes he should repent for the sins of the original Hitler by praying and fasting every day.

Death: Eventually, they put poison in his food. but he admits to the Kais that he is glad he will die, because his soul can be liberated from his sins and his punishment. Not long after, he dies in his sleep and christened a saint.

Florence Nightingale[]

Status: Deceased.

Florence is impatient, rational. At St. Kleio Academy, students seem to go to Florence for immediate medical issues, although Freud tends to use this to his advantage by trying to get CPR from her by faking unconsciousness (but she can easily tell, and reprimands him each time). She is bought after graduation by a hospital with poor care for their patients, and refuses her logical proposals so they can use her as mascot. Frustrated, she loses faith in helping people and joins the Strikers.

Death: When the terrorists attack St. Kleio, she tries to kill the 3rd gen Florence to keep her from experiencing a sad fate like her own, but is intercepted by Kuroe, and then shot to death by security who enter the room unseen.

Napoleon Bonaparte[]

Status: Deceased.

Death: Killed by 3rd Gen Napoleon, shot at point blank when 3rd Gen Napoleon grabbed 2nd Gen Napolean's gun away from him. As he dies, he laments how 3rd Gen Napoleon has chosen life.

Elizabeth Tudor[]

Status: Alive.

Joan Of Arc[]

Status: Deceased.

Death: Burned at the stake by the Strikers for trying to save her 3rd Generation clone-self.

Albert Einstein[]

Status: Alive.

Wolfgang Mozart[]

Status: Deceased.

Death: When confronting 3rd Generation Mozart, the 2nd Gen Mozart performed a piano piece that moved the 2nd Generation Mozart to tears. Realising that maybe his 'successor' was a better clone then himself, and possibly regaining the happiness at 'Creating' art instead of destruction, the 2nd Generation Mozart committed suicide by shooting himself.

Carl Gustav Jung[]

Status: Unknown.

Jung is seen at the beginning of Kai's story, arguing with Freud about each other's pervertedness, not unlike the 3rd gen Jung.

Thomas Edison[]

Status: Unknown.

Edison was mentioned to have been adapting well to his life after St. Kleio before things began to go wrong.

Advancements since last generation[]

- Renovations have been made at least since the 1st generation, as the academy had looked rather shabby and old in the earliest years of being a school compared to how it looked in the 2nd generation flashbacks.

- More clones have been added into the generation. (The only familiar clones seen from the first generation were Leonardo Da Vinci, Kennedy, Albert Einstein, Joan of Arc, and Napoleon Bonaparte.)

- More students have been included into cloning research since the 1st generation, rather than just Kamiya, teachers, and specialists.

- Activities like horseback riding and the like may have been only added to the curriculum after the 1st generation left the academy.

Trivia[]

to be filled in as you wish

- Somehow, the 2nd generation knows that Dr. Kamiya is a clone, while the 3rd generation does not. This may perhaps be because it became apparent when the Kais grew up and their faces came to look like Kamiya's, or perhaps because Kamiya chose to keep it a secret from the 3rd generation because he didn't want Shiro to find out.
